Migration to GuestlinePortal
A two-week onboarding path from spreadsheet-driven Rezlynx operations or generic global add-ons to a fully Irish-tuned setup. For Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Killarney and Belfast operators.
· I ·Week one — Rezlynx and Fáilte
Issue a Rezlynx API token from your Guestline Client Portal. Paste it into the GuestlinePortal Sandbox portal. Auto-detect your Fáilte Ireland grading from the Fáilte register. Confirm the Welcome Standard renewal date. Configure your IHF membership status (member / non-member / applied).
· II ·Week one — Revenue VAT
Configure your VAT prefix (IE) and your VAT number. The 9% / 13.5% / 23% split is applied per invoice line automatically. VIES verification for reverse charge is enabled by default. ROS quarterly export scheduling defaults to the standard Irish quarter-end dates.
· III ·Week two — payments and OTA
Enter your Bank of Ireland IBAN (BIC BOFIIE2D) or AIB Merchant Services ID (BIC AIBKIE2D) — or both, for the unified rail. Back-fill 30 days of settlement files to verify matching accuracy. Configure the OTA connector for your Booking.com IE, Expedia IE and (where relevant) HRS/HolidayCheck accounts.
· IV ·Week two — regional playbook
Choose the appropriate regional playbook — Dublin (D1/D2/D4/Docklands), Cork (city/airport/suburban), Galway (city/Salthill/Connemara), Limerick, Killarney (town/Lakes/Ring of Kerry), Belfast (Titanic Quarter/Cathedral Quarter), Kilkenny, Waterford, Sligo or Ennis. First monthly benchmark pack arrives at the end of month one.
· V ·Cut-over
Nothing is deprecated during onboarding — your existing processes run in parallel with GuestlinePortal for two weeks. On the Friday of week two the Dublin desk runs a cut-over review call. From week three you decommission the spreadsheets, the standalone rate-parity checker and the manual Fáilte reminders.
· VI ·What we do not migrate
We do not migrate your reservations, folios, rate plans or guest data — those remain in Rezlynx as the source of truth. We do not replace Rezlynx. We do not run alongside a competing PMS. Every module reads and writes via the official Guestline Rezlynx API.
